In this project, we use the Trinidad Carnival as a vehicle and site for exploration and education in artificial intelligence (AI), art, and design. By combining AI, architecture, digital heritage, art, and culture, we rethink and engage with Carnival and our diaspora in new creative ways. Artistic expressions are vehicles through which Black and Caribbean people have fought oppression, formed community, shared knowledge, and most importantly, found and shared absolute joy! Through this project, we celebrate the creativity, resiliency, and vibrancy of Black and Caribbean histories and cultures.
